Catalyst Consulting was founded by Kristin Deese after nearly two decades of leadership and management experience in various industries. Kristin realized that her superpower of identifying areas for opportunity and growth wasn’t always appreciated in a corporate culture, but tended to be viewed in high regard by small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Kristin has a passion for helping people achieve their dreams. Can’t is not a part of her vocabulary, and instead she chooses to focus on how. With a knack for creating structure out of chaos, identifying roadblocks and how to get around them, dreamers and creative spirits are her favorite clients to work with.
She believes strongly that we all have innate strengths and weaknesses, and when we collaborate with others who build us up where we are not our strongest, we are able to achieve things we haven’t even dreamed of yet.
You can do anything you set your mind to, and Catalyst Consulting will help you get there.
Lindsey brings more than ten years of graphic design and marketing experience to the team, including an AAS in Graphic Design and a BA in Marketing from Eastern Washington University. She has owned her own business – Barry Fresh Designs – since 2014 and was a freelance designer prior to that. She loves being able to combine both aspects of her marketing & graphic design knowledge to help businesses reach their goals.
One of Lindsey’s favorite quotes is from Albert Einstein: “Everyone is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
Art has always been a huge part of Lindsey’s life, and she would sign up for any and all art classes that she could during school. She loves photography, drawing, painting, computer graphics, and has also recently branched out into hand-painted wood signs.
Born and raised in Omak, Washington, Lindsey currently resides in Spokane Valley with her husband, two children (son, 2 & daughter, 5), two cats (Midnight Sprinkles, a foster who came to stay & an orange and white tabby named Lynx), and a dog (a 10-year-old American Pitbull named Reeses).
When making the decision to join Catalyst Consulting, Lindsey felt like it was the next logical step for her career growth. It pairs perfectly with her background, and she thrives best when she works with people who challenge her and play at a higher level. She believes that when we’re faced with a challenge is when we tend to learn and grow the most. As far as her thoughts on working with Kristin directly, she said: “One of the things that has stood out to me is your authenticity. You’re real and I really like that. It’s hard to get to know someone and be comfortable with them when they aren’t themselves. It’s a great attribute to have as it allows you to build better connections and relationships.” <3
Fun facts about Lindsey: She has never broken a bone or needed stitches, is ambidextrous for most activities, and grew up a tomboy going camping, fishing and shooting with her dad and brother.
Meaghan brings a ton of experience to the table with a BFA/BS in Fashion Marketing & Management, as well as managing social media for various non-profits, churches and small businesses, including her own business as a Beauty Guide with LimeLife by Alcone.
Meaghan’s favorite quote is: “Some days I am more wolf than woman and I am still learning how to stop apologizing for my wild.” by Nikita Gill.
A lifelong nomad, she recently relocated to Bailey, Colorado – her fifth move in three years! – and is originally from Chewelah, Washington. Her family moved around a lot as a kid and moved cross country four times. Meaghan is a Christian single mom to two girls, ages 4 & 6, and when she’s not busy being a mom, her hobbies are photography, singing, and being outdoors hiking or camping.
She was excited to join Catalyst Consulting because she is passionate about helping people materialize their dreams and goals in a tangible way in order to be successful and prosper in their line of work. Meaghan thoroughly enjoys working in the consulting industry and finds social media and marketing to be especially intriguing. She loves the analytical side of social media and the science behind how our brains work in marketing situations.
Meaghan is super goofy and funny, and truly loves life. She tries to live every day like it’s her last, and has taught her kids two mottos: “hustle, hustle” and “an adventure a day”. She believes that you can hustle every day, and make any situation an adventure if you desire to be happy and have fun, with a sense of faith over fear.
Fun facts about Meaghan: She is super ambitious and has lots of goals and dreams and plans, including building a life, a house, and her own empire with her brand The Babe Cave. She’s working on her yoga instruction certificate and wants to open her own yoga studio and possibly a coffee shop. And if that’s not enough, she also wants to travel more with her daughters.
